Frankford was our stop at the top of Lock 6. It was our first experience with handling the new boat in the locks and after 6 of them we decided we’d stop at Frankford if there was space. Frankford is one of the few locks with power for the boats. The little town sponsored the power, but Parks Canada charges for it’s use in addition to the docking at the locks.
When we got to the top of Lock 6 there was room for us and we pulled in, hooked up to power and went to explore the little town. There are a few stores and it was fun exploring.
